The New Club is a private members’ club founded in 1874 for men and women of the professional and business community. Located in a fine Regency building in the heart of Cheltenham, it provides a tranquil and comfortable meeting place for members and their guests and is only five minutes walk from the renowned Promenade and Montpellier areas of Cheltenham.
In its early life, the Club took an active part in the organisation of the now famous Cheltenham Steeplechase meetings. Although no longer involved in the management of the racecourse, the Club still maintains two private boxes situated next to each other for the use of members.
The Viewing Box overlooks the racecourse and must be booked by members in advance. Lunch and Afternoon Tea are provided and drinks are available from the Paddock Box Bar. The Paddock Box overlooks the Parade Ring and is available to members at all times. Lunches are available but must be pre-booked.
