Athenaeum
The Athenaeum was founded in 1797 to provide a meeting place where ideas and information could be exchanged in pleasant surroundings. Today it continues to fulfil this function in the elegant building erected in 1928 near the famous Blue Coat Chambers in Church Alley. In the heart of Liverpool, The Athenaeum offers a distinguished setting and includes a justly renowned Library, a very attractive Dining Room and a relaxing Lounge Bar. It is an ideal place to entertain visitors, clients, or to enjoy a good lunch in the company of friends.
Accommodation is not available at the Athenaeum.
